For our overnight guests

Half-board at the Culinary Alm

Are you planning to stay for several days to experience mountain bliss, pure and peaceful at your own pace? As a resident guest, we look after you with a delicious dinner after your day of adventure in the wild, followed by a sustaining mountain breakfast after a restful night under the clear starlit sky. Just as our rooms are modern Alpine retreats, our kitchen is close to nature but far from strictly traditional.

While day guests flock to us at lunchtime for South Tyrolean classics, the evening selection expands to include unique fine-dining style dishes, influenced by the culinary traditions of various cultures. Through these aromas from near and far, we create a bridge between our local roots and international flair.

Dinner:

6:00 pm – 7:30 pm

Our evening menu consists of three courses (starter, main, and dessert), complemented by a fresh salad, and changes daily. The morning’s delights are no less special: we serve breakfast directly to your table, and it is always a generous spread! You can put together your own individual breakfast from our menu, and we even have a dedicated menu for your favourite egg dishes.

Renowned for high standards

A true culinary alpine hut

Passionate culinary craftsmanship paired with high-quality regional ingredients—most notably game from our own hunt and Völs produce made right in the nearby village below. This combination ensures not only genuine quality but also variety: traditional, hearty meals based on old regional recipes on one hand, and creative, innovative cuisine on the other. Sometimes, it’s a perfect blend of both. We support local farmers and producers, serving you only the best of the best. Even our coffee, that delicious morning wake-up call, comes from Völs—granted, the Caroma beans don't grow here, but they are roasted locally.

Very friendly staff, tasty dishes, and perfectly chilled drinks, all topped off with a magnificent view: as a hiker, what more could you possibly want?! Hofer Alpl was worth a visit over 20 years ago, and that hasn't changed one bit.
