Naturally, we serve up hearty Alpine fare—but that is only the beginning. Traditional flavours with a modern twist, always served with a smile: that is our motto. The praise we frequently receive for our cooking inspires us to give our best every single day. One of our secrets is undoubtedly the flawless regional ingredients that form the heart of our dishes—above all, Völs produce sourced directly from the village just below us.

Our restaurant is also open to non-residents in the evening. You have the choice of booking our set evening menu or selecting a dish from our special à la carte evening menu. If you are interested in the set menu, please let us know in advance if you have any vegetarian or other dietary requirements. Philosophy

We live by what the forest and fields provide. We cook a variety of hearty dishes inspired by our grandmothers’ old recipe books, though you might also find locally hunted venison, such as a rich stag goulash, on our menu. We support local cycles and promote economic sustainability by choosing products that are grown, produced, and refined in our immediate neighbourhood.

The dishes at Hofer Alpl tell stories—stories of grandmothers, of the farms in the valley, and of the surrounding nature. Every meal is a commitment to regional ingredients, carefully selected and prepared with love.
