Nora is a joyful and communicative soul; as a local councillor, she is dedicated to ensuring a bright future for her homeland. Lukas loves his solitary treks through the forest in the early hours of the morning. As a result, he knows the surrounding landscape just as intimately as he knows his kitchen.

Monika grew up on a "Törggele" farm on the Ritten plateau and has been a hostess all her life. When she found her Andreas, her heart soon belonged to Hofer Alpl as well. As the soul of the house, she supports the service team and loves nothing more than chatting with our guests. Andreas took over this little gem from his father and will pass it to Lukas – but there is more than just the keys: like his son, he is a hunter and a true outdoorsman. He looks after the animals, the land, and everything "outside". That’s why he’ll likely be the one behind the wheel when you book our mountain taxi. Many of our regulars also fondly remember Marianne, Andreas's mother. For a long time, she was the driving force here and was practically famous for her "Schlutzkrapfen" (traditional ravioli).

Hofer Alpl simply wouldn’t be the same without Heike. Lukas’s sister has a special gift: she is more precise and meticulous than almost anyone else. Since she feels perfectly at home amongst documents and computers, she is the ideal person for our office and reception. She handles everything regarding your reservation, ensuring that nothing stands in the way of your mountain bliss, pure and peaceful. She’ll also be the friendly voice on the other end of the line when you call us.
